How do I change the account(e-mail address) listed in the mailing list?

To change the e-mail address at which you receive your MeG posts, please send an e-mail to moderator@urdupoetry.com with the following information:
Mailing list name: Mehfil-e-Gazal
Current e-mail address:
New e-mail address:
Effective from:


Please make sure that the name of the mailing list is included in your e-mail. Otherwise we may not be able to modify the e-mail address.

Can I post to the group?

Mehfil-e-Gazal is an announcement type mailing list. Posts can be made by the moderator only. However, you can send in your contributions by e-mailing them to moderator@urdupoetry.com.

I won't be able to check my e-mail for some time. Do I need to unsubscribe?

You can unsubscribe if you want to. However, you can also change the delivery mode of the posts to "Web Only" so that your Inbox is not jammed with unread posts. As and when you come back, you can change it back to "Individual e-mails".
