I am a software consultant by profession specializing in configuration management, build and release and deployment of applications on Unix and NT/Windows 2000.One of the primary configuration management tools I work with is Clearcase from Rantional.

Software configuration management is a rapidly growing field with more and more companies realizing that it is not enough to just dump some product out in the market. The high cost of software development has brought about a radical change in the way software is developed, and both QA and CM play an important part in the new software development process.

I currently work for a company called DCM Technologies. I have been working for them for over 8 years now, the last 6 of them in the US.
