This is the last offering by Qateel Shifai. Next week we will have 
the pleasure of presenting the poetry of the one and only Mirza 
Asadullah Khan "Ghalib". :-)

jo bhii gu.nchaa tere hoTho.n par khilaa karataa hai
vo merii ta.ngii-e-daamaa.N kaa gilaa karataa hai

[gu.nchaa = flower bud; ta.ng = shortness/lack of breadth]

der se aaj meraa sar hai tere zaano.n par
ye vo rutbaa hai jo shaaho.n ko milaa karataa hai

mai.n to baiThaa huu.N dabaaye huye tuufaano.n ko
tuu mere dil ke dha.Dakane kaa gilaa karataa hai

raat yo.n chaa.Nd ko dekhaa hai nadii me.n raksaa.N
jaise jhuumar tere maathe pe hilaa karataa hai

[raksaa.N = dancing]

kaun kaafir tujhe ilzaam-e-taGaaful degaa
jo bhii karataa hai muhabbat kaa gilaa karataa hai

[ilzaam = accusation; taGaaful = neglect]
