from their album 'Live at Royal Albert Hall'. The 
album was originally released in 1983 as a two-
cassette set. This Gazal is from volume 2.


ye inaayate.n Gazab kii, ye balaa kii meharabaanii
merii Khairiyat bhii puuchhii kisii aur kii zubaanii

meraa Gam rulaa chukaa hai tujhe bikharii zulf vaale
ye ghaTaa bataa rahii hai ki baras chukaa hai paanii

**the imagery created by such simple words is very nice**

teraa husn so rahaa thaa merii chhe.D ne jagaayaa
vo nigaah mai.n ne Daalii ki sa.Nvar ga_ii javaanii

merii bezubaan aa.Nkho.n se gire hai.n cha.nd katare
vo samajh sake to aa.Nsuu na samajh sake to paanii
