This Gazal is from the album 'Rare Gems - Jagjit & 
Chitra Singh' and indeed it does contain some not 
so wellknown recordings by the famous couple.

I have talked about this album before in my postings, 
and this album is definitely a good buy for ghazal 
lovers, and a must-buy for J&C fans.

The album is a two cassette set (also available in 
CD form). And for once, Chitra Singh is not only 
bearable, she is hearable too. :-)


jab bhii aatii hai terii yaad kabhii shaam ke baad
aur ba.D jaatii hai afsuurdaa-dilii shaam ke baad

[afsurdaadilii = disappointment of the heart]

ab iraado.n pe bharosaa hai na taubaa pe yakii.n 
mujh ko le jaaye kahaa.N tashnaa_labii shaam ke baad 

[tashnaalabii = thirst]
