kaise sukuun paauu.N tujhe dekhane ke baad
ab kyaa Gazal sunauu.N tujhe dekhane ke baad 

[sukuun = peace/contentment]

aavaaz de rahii hai merii zi.ndagii mujhe 
jaauu.N mai.n yaa na jaauu.N tujhe dekhane ke baad 

kaabe kaa ehataraam bhii merii nazar me.n hai 
sar kis taraf jhukaauu.N tujhe dekhane ke baad 

[kaabaa = house of Allah in Mecca; ehataraam = reverance/respect]

terii nigah-e-mast ne maKhmuur kar diyaa
kyaa maikade ko jaauu.N tujhe dekhane ke baad 

[maKhmuur = intoxicated]

nazaro.n me.n taab-e-diid hii baaqii nahii.n rahii
kis se nazar milaauu.N tujhe dekhane ke baad 

[taab-e-diid = power to see; baaqii = left/remain]
