Mehfil-e-Gazal #502

More than a year ago, I had posted this ghazal. I am re-posting
this for a reason. This ghazal is very dear to me for sentimental
reasons. It is perhaps the first ghazal I ever heard. My father
used to sing it when I was small. Unfortunately he doesn't
remember who the poet is or who the original singer was. Nor
do I have a recording of the ghazal. Since Mehfil-e-Gazal's
membership has more than doubled since then, I am hoping
someone can provide some information about this.

baat chalii terii aa.Nkho.n se jaa pahu.Nchii paimaane tak
khii.nch rahii hai terii ulfat aaj mujhe maiKhaane tak

ishq kii baate.n Gam kii baate.n duniyaa vaale karate hai.n
kis ne shammaa kaa dukh dekhaa kaun gayaa paravaane tak

ishq nahii.n hai tum ko mujh se sirf bahaane karatii ho
yuu.N hii bahaane qaayam rakhanaa tum mere mar jaane tak

itanaa hii kahanaa hai tum se mumkin ho to aa jaanaa
aa hii gaye to rukanaa hogaa aa.Nkho.n ke patharaane tak

It is possible that this has been sung by Mohammed Rafi since
the other ghazals that my father liked to hear/sing were mostly
by him. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
