vo kahate hai.n ranjish kii baate.n bhulaa de.n 
muhabbat kare.n Khush rahe.n muskuraa de.n 


javaanii ho gar jaavidaanii to yaa rab 
terii saadaa duniyaa ko jannat banaa de.n 

[jaavidaanii = eternal/perpetual]


shab-e-vasl kii beKhudii chhaa rahii hai 
kaho to sitaaro.n kii shamae.N bujhaa de.n 


tum afsaanaa-e-qais kyaa puuchhate ho 
idhar aao ham tum ko lailaa banaa de.n 

[Qais = Majnu's real name (of Laila-Majnu fame)]


bahaare.n simaT aaye.n khil jaaye.n kaliyaa.N 
jo ham tum chaman me.n kabhii muskuraa de.n 


vo aaye.nge aaj ai bahaar-e-muhabbat 
sitaaro.n ke bistar pe kaliyaa.N bichhade
