In the 80s, Ali Sardar Jafri has produced a TV serial 
called Kahkashan. Music for the serial was composed by 
Jagjit Singh, who also sang quite a few of the ghazals 
and nazms in the serial. The songs from Kahkashan was
released in two volumes. Here is a ghazal by Hasrat 
Mohani from Volume 1 of Kahkashan. The ghazal was sung
by Chitra Singh. Thanks to Shoaib for sharing this with

ab to uTh sakataa nahii.n aa.Nkho.n se baar-e-intazaar
kis tarah kaaTe ko_ii lail-o-nahaar-e-intazaar

[baar = weight] 

un kii ulfat kaa yaqii.n ho un ke aane kii ummiid
ho.n ye dono.n suurate.n tab hai bahaar-e-intazaar

merii aahe.n naa_rasaa merii duaae.n naa_qubuul
yaa ilaahii kyaa karuu.N mai.n sharm_saar-e-intazaar

[naa_rasaa = not reaching; naa_qubuul = not acceptable]

un ke Khat kii aarazuu hai un ke aamad kaa Khayaal 
kis qadar phailaa huaa hai kaarobaar-e-intazaar

[aamad = arrival]
