I am surprised that I haven't shared this famous nazm 
with you already. Thanks to Muhammad Shahid Masood for 
reminding me of this lovely nazm. This was one of the 
first songs by Jagjit Singh that I had the fortune to 
hear and there was not turning back. Hope you have had 
the experience, too. If not, I highly recommend the 
album "The Unforgettables" by Jagjit and Chitra Singh. 
This was the album that catapulted this husband-wife 
team to the forefront of the ghazal scene.
