Seemab Akkabarabadi was the 'taKhallus' of Aashiq Husain, born in 1880 in Agra, India. He was a disciple of Daag Dehlvi. His books include Saaz-o-Ahang, Sarod-e-Gam, Nafeer-e-Gam, Kaar-e-Imroz and Sehba-e-Kuhan. He dies on 31st January, 1951 at Karachi, Pakistan.

ab kyaa bataa_uu.N mai.n tere milane se kyaa milaa
baqadr-e-shauq iqaraar-e-vafaa kyaa
Gam mujhe hasarat mujhe vahashat mujhe saudaa mujhe
jannat jo mile laake maiKhaane me.n rakh denaa
mujhase milane ke vo karataa thaa bahaane kitane
na ho gar aashanaa nahii.n hotaa
naamaa gayaa ko_ii na ko_ii naamaabar gayaa
nasiim-e-subah gulshan me.n gulo.n se khelatii hogii
shab-e-Gam ai mere allaah basar bhii hogii
tere qadamo.n pe sar hogaa qazaa sar pe kha.Dii hogii
ye kyaa jaane me.n jaanaa hai, jaate ho Khafaa hokar
