Word of the Day: 'saahir'

A few of our fellow subscribers have asked me 
what is the meaning of the names of some of our 
famous poets. We start with Sahir Ludhianvi, 
whose real name was Abdul Haie. He happens 
to be one of my favourite poets, and how apt is
his 'taKhallus' (pen-name).


Meaning:
saahir - magician
