Word of the Day: 'jaa.Nnissar'

Jan Nissar Akhtar is as well known for his poetry as his film 
songs. His son - Javed Akhtar - carries on the tradition which
he inherited from his father Muztar Khairabadi. 

Those who have been with us from the beginning, know that 
'aKhtar' means star.

Meaning:
jaa.Nnisaar - one who sacrifices his life for others

merii hayaat kaa a.njaam aur kuchh hotaa
jo aap kahate kabhii apanaa jaa.Nnisaar mujhe
